Here in Shadow Fleet, we are always on the lookout for new members. So, if you think you could make a good addition to our crew, just follow the few short steps below and you'll be simming in no time!

1. Join Shadow Fleet

To join the Discovery, you must already be a member of Shadow Fleet. To sign up, head along to the forums and register an account. Your account should be the name of the character you intend to simm as.

2. Submit an application

Once you are signed up, head along to the Fleet Application board , in Fleet Personnel & Training, and post an application topic. Make sure you follow the instructions on how to apply and once you have, a member of the fleet command staff will get back to you with further instructions. If you have an idea about a specific ship you would like to SIMM on, make sure you put this in your application.

3. Begin your career

If your application is very detailed, you will probably be offered commissioned service in the fleet, that is, simming as an officer. If you accept, your next step will be to complete the appropriate course at Shadow Fleet Academy. If your application isn't very detailed, or you choose not to become an officer, you will be posted to a SIMM as an enlisted crewman, where you can begin posting straight away.
