Some people enjoy anchovies on their pizza.  Not I, but to each their own.

You're right, I forgot about that. I've done it. I wouldn't say it's my favorite but I have eaten anchovi on pizza and enjoyed it!

Ham-and-pineapple, or Hawaiian, pizza, is an integral part of the pizza canon. It goes under-appreciated as the kid's food option, but it deserves an adult eater's consideration. It's an understated, elegant dish that finds harmony in simplicity and neatly balances savoury and sweet tastes.

BTW, something I learned from watching 2- to 4-year-old's eat: food tastes better upside down. Flip your pizza over and put the topping side down on the tongue, for a much richer and immediate flavour than beginning with the base and working through.

Sage words!

It is a sophisticated taste and requires a sophisticated palate. I bet the same folks who can't appreciate the salty/savory sauce and cheese mixed with the delicate sweet of the pineapple are still eating dinosaur nuggets.
