Together Forever & Never Apart (Kyle & Olivia)

If she thought Elijah was excited at what he was seeing, then it was clear that he took after his Father, when she saw Kyle react to the enormous seat turtle. This was what family time was all about and she loved getting to see their reactions to their favourite animals and she herself had to admit that the turtle was beautiful.

" Wow, pretty Daddy".

" I agree with Elijah, its stunning and I've learnt something new today".

Even after five years, Liv was still finding things out about her husband, which was definitely a bonus and would of course commit this latest finding to memory.

"I'm hungry."

Kyle checked the time. They had been walking around the aquarium for almost three hours and as if on cue, his stomach growled loud enough for Elijah to hear and start laughing.

"So is Daddy."

"I am." admitted Kyle. "What do you think, Babe? Lunch time?" he said to Liv.

If Elijah was saying that he was hungry then both her and Kyle, knew it was time to stop for a break. Although when Elijah then commented about his Daddy also being hungry, Liv had to suppress a grin, loving his innocence when it came to the things he said.

Plus his laughter was something that she could never stop listening too, as Kyle then replied and then asked what she thought and if they should grab lunch.

" Lunch sounds good to me, can't have my two favourite boys being hungry and having a break is a good idea".

They found a restaurant in the aquarium and ordered their meals. Elijah was excited that the tables were next to a tank and you could watch fish swim by as you ate. Kyle couldn't help but to smile at his son's happiness.

"I'm so glad we did this. He's having so much fun." he said to Liv.

The restaurant that they had found was just as spectacular as the rest of the aquarium, friendly, welcoming and somewhere that would also keep Elijah entertained. Seeing his face when he realised that he could watch fish swim beside him, was just another priceless moment to witness. When Kyle commented on how glad that they did this, because of their son and how happy he was, Liv looked at her husband and smiled.

" Me too and he is, I love how we can give him all of these experiences, even being on a ship and makes our family time, that more special".

"Agreed." Kyle said as he placed his hand on Liv's. "I couldn't imagine trying to have a family before we had all this technology."

They ate some more lunch and watched the fish swim by.

"So what do you want to see next buddy?" he asked Elijah.

As Kyle agreed with her and placed his hand over hers, Liv smiled, knowing exactly what he meant, although could imagine how different their lives would be. Not that she would change what they had for anything and ultimately it was their son's happiness that meant the most to them.

" I know what you mean and I wouldn't swap this for anything".

The food was lovely and lunch passed quickly thanks to the fish and atmosphere, especially with Elijah's personality and wonder, thrown in. When he was asked what he wanted to see next, Elijah gave a look of serious consideration before he answered his Daddy.

" Seahorseys and more Fishies".

[Kyle Briggs]

"We can do seahorseys." Kyle said with a smile. "And you can have the best view of all." he added as they threw away their trash and he scooped up his son and placed him up top on his shoulders.

"Weeeee."

"I think he likes it up there." he said to Liv.

" I agree I think he does" Liv replied as Elijah reacted so enthusiastically to both being able to see the seahorses, but also at being on his Daddy's shoulders.

Knowing that this would be another important memory to add to the scrapbook she had started for Elijah. It was something that she had always wanted to do and now she could add to it as and when. But for now they had a little boy who wanted to see more and so they left the restaurant and headed for the seahorses.
