"Oof!" The wind pushed from her back hitting hard on the mat and out her mouth from the inelegant tumble. She looked up at the ceiling lights and let out a strangled half-giggle. "But ow. This would have been different if I weighed like an actual Gorn, just sayin'."

Jane got to her feet and gave a smirk.

"If you were a Gorn, I would have shot you by now with a phaser." She replied. "Are you ok?" She asked, seeing that Reyes was still on the floor.

"I'm broken in ten places," Kali responded evenly, but it was obvious she was over-exaggerating. She didn't even feel any pain except for a bit of wind knocked out of her. She rolled to the side and then got into a sitting position to stretch. "May the odds ever be in my favor if you were an android." Fighting meaty things? Not her expertise. Machines on the other hand...

Jane chuckled at that remark and extended her hand.

"If I was an android Reyes, I would be terrified of you." She remarked, helping the Ops Chief to her feet. "Your basic style is good, but you can't rely on your opponent always doing what you expect. If you want some pointers, I'd be more than happy to show you." She added with a smile.

"You're a good egg, Jane - can I call you Jane? I'm gonna call you that." D'Angelo can be a mouthful for someone like her - that and she never really liked calling people by their last names unless absolutely forced to.

Kali grabbed her hand and allowed herself to be pulled back onto her feet. "I can't imagine a Klingon charging at an Ops Chief, but better safe than sorry, right?" She definitely needed someone kicking her butt on a daily basis to keep moving.
