We have come to the end of the month.

As such, it is time to give out the Post of the Month Award.

This time around it is going to newcomer Jehamy Jex!

Dr Jeremy Jex brought his hurried pace to a halt outside the scheduled locale for this 'getting to know you' party. He was quite, quite late - being caught up in the latest subspace packet from XenoAstro Weekly caused quite the time dilation! It also didn't help that it had taken more time than he had cared for find Cargo Bay 3; Bays One and Two were, at least to him, much easier to find. Not to mention that he just couldn't put down the PADD, nose buried in an article on cosmic string ecosystems, which may - and only may - have impeded his navigation around the latter half of this huge vessel.

Nevertheless, he had finally made it, and from the sound of jovial activity, not to late either!

Straightening his Cadet uniform ("Cadet!" he chuckled to himself delightedly, "I'm a Cadet aboard a Federation Starship!") the Joined Trill smiled his best smile, and strode confidently into the cavernous chamber, ready to meet new lives and learn from new civilisations. To boldly socialise where no Jex had socialised before.

Ah.

Perhaps overcompensating for the, as Humans would say, faux pas, Jehamy applauded loudly at the statement, dropping his PADD from under his armpit with a tremendous clatter which echoed, quite impressively, off bulkheads and cargo containers alike.

"Well, what a lovely sentiment!" he announced loudly and with a cheery expression, looking around at whatever eyes had turned his way. "Hello! Dr Jehamy Jex - wonderful to meet you all! Ooo... is that.. " his eyes narrowed to focus on a glass on the distant table, "a Suliban Surprise?"
