Open Recruitment: Academy Instructor (Engineering)

Hello Shadowfleet!

We are currently actively seeking to fill a vacant position as an Engineering instructor in the Academy. Academy are the first people many of our new members get to interact with. Any instructor should have some experience RPing in that department, either current or former. They should also have quite a bit of experience RPing here at SF and a high comfort level with providing feedback and teaching our newest players how to interact with the site. This includes; but is not limited to; posting format, quoting, BB code, command structure, gameplay, discord communication and PM's. Our instructors really work hard to get people up and running quickly and efficiently here on SF.

Here are the stated requirements to join our team of instructors;

Available academy instructor positions are open to any player holding the minimum rank of Lieutenant JG, but no higher than Captain, though some courses will hold an additional minimum rank (as stated).

All Academy instructor positions are treated as secondary assignments and as such, you will still be expected to maintain an active posting commitment to your SIMM.

Additionally, if you wish to apply for a vacant instructor position, you will be expected to have experience in the requested field and must be online everyday during the time your course has any cadet(s) participating. If you cannot commit to this, please do not request to become an instructor.

If you meet the requirements and are interested in joining the instructor team please PM me by 04/28/20 at 2100 EST. The selection will be made by Myself, James Carter along with input from the current team of instructors.
