This grabbed Sven's attention. Without hesitation he he called out to the computer.

"Computer, erect a level 10 forcefield around brig cell 2."

Then he tapped his combadge. He knew the situation in engineering hadn't resolved yet. Because if it had, there would be more people filling the brig. He needed to inform the necessary people.

=/\= "Commander Brighton, Captain Carter and Chief Oza, this is Aune. I have reason to believe that the terrorist are rigged with internal explosive devices that may be triggered remotely." =/\=

Sven wasn't messing around with this, even if it was an empty threat from Richards.

"You guys don't mess around do you?" he said to Dean.

When the newest arrivals dropped from midair, Syhr had reason to believe they were possibly injured, and was intending to move forwards to assist. When it became apparent that they might be concealing explosives, that immediately changed and they chose to back away from both cells. With the state of the ship being what it was, Syhr knew it was unsafe to leave without a security escort. They chose to back up besides Stryker, with the hopes that the situation would resolve without their having to use him as a meatshield. They were firm in the idea that this wasn't a good day to die by suicide bomber.

"Have I mentioned that I don't particularly like my job today? I miss the Guard..." They'd never be caught unarmed back then.

Stryker and Richards bantered back and forth, but Syhr was hardly paying attention. Sure, the implication that a schism-level corruption base undercutting starfleet was fascinating, of course, but Syhr was a doctor first, an andorian second, and a starfleet officer third. Taking care of Richards was like trying to carpet wrestle an eel. They made the mistake of giving him a nerve blocking hypo and the man went ahead and started folding his arms and gesturing freely.

"Do you want a crooked...? Nevermind." They decided that they'd do their best around his erratic movements and delusions of grandeur, resulting in a safely healed but not altogether aesthetically pleasing bone regeneration job. "Don't break anything else. Alright, Lieutenant, I've done as best as I can." they gathered their things, stepping backwards out of the cell to avoid turning their back to Richards.

"Any of the arrivals have injuries? I didn't catch the whole conversation."

Richards let out a long groan as he sat up. He looked around a moment to find himself in the brig, a place where he'd spent quite a lot of time on duty. But now he was on the other side. "Really jumped into action there Stryker. You were trained better than I expected. Or you were told I was playing for the other sid-ah. That's what that double knock was wasn't it? He was telling you to be ready to act. Can't believe I didn't catch that." He chuckled slightly to himself as his uncaring gaze met Stryker.

Syhr was unsurprised that Richards stirred in the middle of strapping a splint to his arm. Even with the low dose of pain medication they'd administered, being jostled with a broken arm had to hurt. If it did, though, he wasn't showing it. In fact,  Richards seemed more interested in taunting the security officer that was still training a phaser on him. This agitated Syhr somewhat under their blank expression. The last thing they need was another of Stryker's  impulsive outbursts while they were standing right there aligning his arm for the osteoregenerator to work properly.

"Talk less unless you want a crooked arm," they said simply. With any luck Stryker would brush it off and they wouldn't have to dodge any phaser fire.

Sven allowed the doctor into the bright, and immediately put it back into lockdown. He walked over to the controls and since Richards was still unconscious he lowered the force field to allow the Andorian access to practice her trade upon him. But he kept a phaser trained on the man just to be safe.

"For our safety." he said.

[Brig]

Syhr stepped through the doorway and noted how quickly it closed behind them. After what they'd seen in the conference room, they honestly found themselves a bit more concerned with Sven than the unconscious officer in the holding cell. The cracking of thick bone still pinged in the back of their mind, with the deliverer of such now supposed to protect them from the one he'd injured. The irony did not escape them at all. "I appreciate the backup-- don't shoot him immediately if he wakes up. Some parts of my exam are best done with a conscious patient." Syhr had a hypo they planned to jab in Richards' neck if the need arose, as well.

They stepped over the small threshold of the holding cell, approaching Richards with a tricorder in hand. Preliminary scans showed the damage done to his arm, and some residual nerve blockage from the vulcan pinch that had put him under. Syhr set their case on a nearby wall protrusion that functioned as a table, and pulled out a splint, a few hypos, and a handheld osteoregenerator. It would take them some time to fully repair the arm, but they had the time-- the only thing after this was the paperwork that was going to be involved to chart it.

[Corridor]

Following the startling altercation in the conference, Syhr found themselves fairly shaken. Not for the violence-- they were much more upset with the idea that there was a traitor among them. That wasn't exactly par for the course aboard a starfleet ship. Still, traitor or not, the man currently sitting in a holding cell in the brig was in need of medical attention. They envied the CMO and his ability to remain with the captain. Surely they'd get more information if they were in his place. Still, the leader of the department had choice in the matter and so Syhr was on their way to main security with a medical tote under their arm.

They received the comm announcement that they were to announce their arrival just as they came upon the door.  They stared at its unyielding barrier and shifted their tote. They sighed, tapping to give back an immediate response. =/\= Doctor Qythral to brig. I'm here, open the door if you wouldn't mind.=/\=

Might I have a 'doctor' title added to my ID card?

[Conference Room]

The standoff ended in fire, like Syhr had feared, but their main concern was the captain, who had just been shot. At the risk of encountering the same, they dashed to follow Caleb to Carter's side. They dodged an enormous security officer body-slamming the offender in the fray, but made it to kneel to assist without much trouble. Years of Andorian training had left them somewhat used to chaos, though they seldom saw it anymore from the confines of a lab. DNA fragments were rarely capable of operating a phaser. They had no medical equipment with them, and they couldn't exactly dash to safety to get supplies, so their main focus became making sure the Captain stayed breathing.

"Captain, stay with us, we'll get you to sickb--" a loud crunching noise ripped their attention away to the sight of the tank-like officer who'd tackled Richards damn near ripping his arm clean off. The medical professional in them cringed at the sight, and they were grateful when the fight was ended by a Vulcan neck pinch. They physically exhaled, then returned their attention to the captain and Caleb. "We should get him out of here... and Richards is going to need his arm splinted. Do you think we should call a site-to-site?"
