Vila loosened up her grip on the phaser, and moved to a more relaxed stance. She had finally realized that, while weird, the situation wasn't dangerous and she could calm down. She started a series of box breathing exercises, and then looked around.

She nodded once to the others looking.

"It's ok..." she said.

Vila nodded.

"That's...uh. I am not interested at this time, but I will keep that in mind," she said. She set the phaser on the table, and sat back down. She picked up her drink-that until now, she'd been just sipping at-and downed it in one gulp. She really needed to ask for a new assignment.

"i'd still like to get to know you my feelingsd for you are very real and i want to build towards something amazing our scares ont define us vaila we choice what defines us we choice who we want to be if your not ready now i can wait for as long as i need to purrser no strings i promise". torrian said with an elegence that that one would not expect coming form someone like her.

[USS Discovery - Deck 1 - Main Bridge]

So protocol was not followed?  There had to be a reason... but the Captain did not have time to deal with it right now.

"We're not in a good position to use the transporter system and there is no guarantee you'll make it.  You can bring up protocol with the XO when he returns."

"Modulation...." Nevir stated, his mind racing. Their phasers were being absorbed, their shields were being drained quickly.  They weren't the first ship this vessel encountered. They were power hungry; they optimized their defenses and weapons to siphon.  And then with Trix, they had their answer. Strings.  Webs.  Why did it have to be spiders?

"Work with engineering to handle the power systems.  Bridge the holodeck power to add to our own, and divert power from the phaser banks. And... save the shields for now. Mr. Dersch, bring the Borg modulations online, and coordinate with Mr. Trix to activate them after we handled the outer hull.  Mr. Trix, prepare the inverse polarity field for the hull.  Ops, enact emergency power protocol; evacuate all officers not involved in battle stations to their designated refuge center and then shut down all power to non-essential locations."

"Prepare a full spread of quantum torpedo forward and aft, set to detonate at minimal safety distance from the ship, and fire on my order. And load up a second spread forward with a higher yield for our new friends." he gripped the chair.

"And you all better hold on... we're about to detonate a dozen warheads around an unshielded ship."

"All hands, this the Captain, evacuate from all outer sections and brace for impact."

"Fire!" he ordered, holding on for dear life.  It didn't take long for the shockwave to hit Discovery, and it hit it HARD. Panels exploded and Cordry rocks were disrupted, flying around the bridge.  The ship would end up taking massive damage, but the risk ended up working out.  Sensors calibrated showed a number of the strings were disrupted.  So they could work against the other ship.

"Fire!" he ordered, and watched the next volley fire away and at the ship.  The alien vessel did not seem to think it was a risk, but upon detonation, the ship was still hit, even in its semi-phased state. There was clear damage showing on the ship. Nevir breathed a sigh of relief.

"Oh trust me I will, but for now sir your orders do i stabilze the the cre that have been hurt if any or  come up with a toxican to kill whatever hurt our fallow officers?" torrian asked her deep voice having an tint of rage in it as she awaited orders.

Vila was still in firing stance, but at least the redness had left her face.

"How can you say that when you just got here and we don't know each other?" She was still unwilling to put the phaser away; what if it were a trap of some kind? She was aware that she was garnering attention, but she couldn't care yet.

"How about you go down to the Sickbay and we can get to know each other as colleagues first because I'd as soon put this phaser through your brain than I would date you," she said, evenly. "This is creepy and weird."

There, she'd said it. While it was a little flattering that someone thought she was hot, and she WAS, she was uncomfortable with how out-of-left-field it was.

i can live with that sorry if i creeped you out i just had to say it before I lost control, and someone ended up in sickby with a broken arm becouse they crossed me on a bad day but know this lT my feelings are very very real but if you want to play it slow we can do that to.  oh trix i need you to send me some files omn inter crew relesnship rigs and an aprrovel form for later as well" She says turning to the other andorian on bored and uh make sure to send a copy to the captian of the hope's bridge i'll give you her transiver code later."

"i just want to talk, i think your freackan hot and want to pursue things with you, i don't care about your record or your rank, I am in love with you i want you to meet the rest of my mates even thier family i want you all to have my last name so please put the phazer down so we can talk." torrian said with her hands up every part of her being ws screaming at her to risk it and just grab the borjoran and kiss her right there in front of everyone the whole bar but right now if she did that torrian felt she'd pass out "please give me the chance to get to know you give us the chance to see where things go."

Torrian stepped onto the holo-deck after having seen Lt. JG vila around a few time she desided to personally get to know her after taken a quick liking to her She wanted to make her attraction to the Bajoran very clear for her people that meant grabbing the person you are intrested in and assulting them as she steped into the bar she stomped over the the woman and in her deep groff voice said."hay lt i demand a word with you right here right now!" she ingored the holograms even qurk himself she paid no mind to her only intrested was confessing to the borjan woman how she felt before she lost her nerve.

[USS Discovery - Deck 1 - Main Bridge]

Every instinct was screaming at him to fight, to defend.  He could almost hear Lorut screaming at him to fire.  And he wanted to.  But everything that happened was recorded.  They could assume this ship was hostile and aggressive, but there was always some detestable Admiral who would be more than happy to hold a disregard for procedure over him.

"Hail them." he ordered, hearing the questioning from Ops soon after.

"I know, trust me.  Hail them.  I don't expect an answer.  Helm evasive maneuvers and keep us between the ship and the Momentary." he stated, looking down at his chair while he heard the advice from the newer Science officer. He brought up his master system display, to see if he was able to automate the process. There were warnings all throughout the Engineering and power systems.  And the MVA was offline.  The Captain tried to override and divert power, but he found the problem.  Each ship needed to be able to act independently, which meant each ship needed their own power generation. The ion reactors were nowhere near enough for multi-vector engagement.

"It's a good idea... but we don't have the manpower to control each hull individually and we don't have any power available to spare... we're going to have to do this the old fashioned way."

The ship shuddered as it moved, and the lights dimmed a bit.  More power was drained. Now it was below 75% power in the reserves. He couldn't explain it.  The ship just emerged, and yet their power drain occurred before...

"Prophets..." he stated as the ship was hit with a similar kind of weapon like a phaser beam.  A nauseating green beam, completely unlike the disrupters of the Klingons or the Romulans.

"Return fire!  Monitor the shield output.  Trix, McNair, run a spectral sweep of our ship using the frequency of that subspace tear. I don't think the power disruptions are naturally occurring."  The ship shook again as their shields were being hit.

torriam pressed her combadge  captian i request permission to beam over and join the away team its standrd protocall for any acting doctor to be apart of any and all away team mission i have field medic training and can get a go kit eady in a few seconds flat 

"It was um a personal message between adults ok the type of video not for others to see kind of deal they sent it to me through an encrypted channel and he thought it was a message to me from the Klingon head house. so he thought it was a spy message the guy is a moron. And is out to get me because I don't follow my race's breeding practices."  "because I am gay and choose not to mate  with a male of my own species and what I watch on my downtime is my choice should they have sent that though that type of channels No but does that give him the right to look at what is something very personal Double no!"

I am pretty sure what he did was highly illegal the only issue is I can't go after him directly without in his words exposing myself."

Torrian sighed and handed over everything she could. "he told me that if i didn't find myself an andorian man he would release my personal file onto public data stores for going ageist what he believed all races should fallow. "damn purist half Vulcan."

She said with a look of distan and classic andorian rage "he also accused me once of being a Klingon spy because and i quote "why else would i be  taking personal messages and when i say person i mean don't open in  the public type personal form a female Klingon."

"there are all sorts of trumped up fake charges that where latter dropped i was suspended four a month  form the academy while they where being sorted out and i had to testify and defend myself in court its all on my file but of course h issues a formal apology and the matter gets dropped i have asked the mdical board to fire him over and over agin."

"she called me again they both did there was another munity on their ship my beloved Vulcan was sent to the med-deck again this the fifth time that man has done this sent embedded crew men to either scare her away or kill her to get me to leave or transfer out of the medical track altogether.

Admiral syhua is a traditionalist believing that Vulcans should be with either one of their own or with humans the same goes for kilgons.  and that andorians should be with others of our own kind. and bar any of my tries for me asking for promistion on bord the discovery and has even begone to blackmail me.

"Normally that would be the case but it seems someone at medical probably one of the admirals doesn't like me very much infact I know this diffently don't he has gotten it into his head that because I am not your traditional Andorian and that one of my girlfriends is a captain of one of his ad ships he can boss me around blackmail me and reject my application for chief medical  I am not too sure yet but I have been compiling evidence agist him to go to the captain with No one and I mean no one mess with the  love of my life or my career and gets away with it so if he wants me to socialize so be it we are going hiking."

Torrian said with the classic angry sneer of a member of her race "infact while we go thinking maybe you can review all the threats and blackmail he has on me and send it to the captain later I don't want to get captain terkin in trouble by going to him myself, after all, he was one of the only captains that would take me in after it was found out that the admiral didn't like me I owe him so much that's why I want to med the ships primary doctor its the least I can do.

"Not just for him but for all of you you guys took me in  when no one else would I don't have any family or friends back home so I want to make sure that you guys are well taken care of I need to make sure I can pay you all back for the kindness you have shown me that Starfleet has soon me an orphan form Andorian who lost everything and everyone she held dear." "and I am not letting some traditionalist  form some backwater southern town get in the way of that even if I have to go through the official channels to do so then fine."

The young Andorian nodded respectfully and stepped onto the transporter pod her natural urge to call him pink skin was held back if they were the same rank or she was of higher rank then maybe she would "care to join me commander Starfleet medical says I need to socialize more if I want to become the ships head doctor so I might as well start now." That is of course if you want I perfectly understand if you couldn't be caught dead with someone of my rank.

She said with a sigh "unlike the rest of you I answer to medical first the captain second its one of the reasons why I choice medical over con or command more freedom.

Torrian while she was offered to walk the station with the other members of the discover choice instead to review medical files and drink ale in sickbay after all she would get to know the rest of the crew when it came time for weekly checkups. the ensign was one for small talk or social interaction. unless she was talking to her girlfriends. Otherwise, she avoids any unneeded interaction with the crew. Andorians arent social outside of family anyway.

She was also filing a request to Starfleet medical to be allowed to become the ship's official doctor.  but so far every request has been denied reason being that "while we here at Starfleet medical believe that ensign sh'riall would make a fine doctor one day her lack of social interaction and proper bedside manner as well as her age prevents her from  truly fulfilling that role at this time  this had been her fifth time getting that response and the Andorian was getting annoyed "lack of social interaction and bedside manner." I have a great bedside manner for an Andorian as for the lack of social interaction may be their right about that part.

She side and clicked her comm  " med deck to transporter room one ensign 
Sh'riall here i will be heading to the station please have a transporter ready for beam done." She said before packing up her things and heading down to the transporter room.

Pressing her comm badge and putting it on crew-wide so that all of the crew can hear she spoke in her Usual slow draw her southern anderian accent coming through. It nice to meet everyone will not face to face but I have work to do  I found an interesting microbe on earth and I must study it might prove my theory on plant sickness harmful to mammalian and other bipedal life so if you must contact me please let it be urgent. the young engine said as she closed comms and got back to work.

"Trust me I know but as a will andiarn certain things are taboo even today talking to a counselor will it's not very andian of me is it which is why this doesn't leave the room as your doctor I would extend the same thing to you but yeah knowing the biological implications would help this isn't something I can't just jump into without knowing every risk to her and any baby we might have if she was like me there wouldn't be any issues but she isn't so any info you may send my way would help greatly oh and commander thank you.
