Character Bio: Láadan is the son of an engineer (his father) who received great accolades for his improvements in the Klingon empire's impulse engine efficiency. Láadan's mother is a tactical officer on a Vor'cha class ship. Láadan tried to make a name for himself, first working in Engineering on a bloodwine delivery tug, then in a Kvort mining ship. He was transferred to a Bird of Prey and provided aid to Federation civilians who were being attacked by cowardly Romulans, rescuing many. One of the civilians has an uncle in a position of power at Starfleet and Láadan was offered attendance at the Academy.

Sample post:Láadan beamed down with the away team. Maybe more Federation security officers would make it through their careers if they broke into defensive formations immediately and tried to stay quiet for the first few minutes on a new planet. Why did they bring me here? There is no honor in repairing equipment of abandoned colonies.
