Sevoc had been working on the long range sensors ever since the attack. At this point they were barely to get accurate readings a light year out.

He looked at the clock on the console and noticed it was nearly time for his first session with T'Ra to help rid himself of the lingering effects the virus had had on him.

He made his way back to his quarters to set things up.

Sevoc dimmed the lights and donned his traditional Vulcan robes. He then lite the ceremonial candles in preparation for what was about to begin.

He tapped the comlink to let Commander T'Ra know he was ready.

"Sevoc to Commander T'Ra. The preparations are complete. When you are ready, please make your way to the place of meeting."=/\=

They had arranged to perform the meld in his quarters, however he did not wish for the whole ship to know what and where things would be.

Kurv had always wanted to explore the galaxy. He finally mustered up the resolve and told his parents he would be leaving on an adventure. There was a civilian freighter, the S. S. Bourbonais, that was set to depart Andoria and it was not going to leave without him on it.

He was able to barter his way on by handing over all the latinum he had saved up over the passed year. The trip was a fun little jaunt. He stayed out of the way of the crew and specifically the captain. Once they docked at Columbus, he knew he found where he would start the adventure with the pink skins.

Once on the Starbase, Kurv decided to "borrow" a uniform and start to walk around the base to get familiar with it. Eventually he worked his way to the promenade. He found a nice little place to get some food. The sign out front said Truffles.

He found a seat and ordered what was called fish and chips with a synthehol Andorian Ale. His food arrived and began to eat.

Early life
Kurv grew up on Andoria. He had a decent life. His family was one that had a long history of space travel and dealings with the Pink Skins. His great-great grandfather was the same Shran that assisted Jonathan Archer on the humans first deep space exploration mission. Kurv had always looked up to Shran and wanted to follow in his footsteps in dealing with the Pink Skins, so he snuck a ride on a civilian freighter and arrived on the Starbase Columbus. He was able convince Captain Stafford to allow him to join the crew as Acting Cadet as he was well under the minimum age requirement.

Early life

Sevoc's parents were trapped in a shuttlecraft during the time of his mother's pon far. This encounter produced him. His father had died on a mission shortly after the conception so he raised by his mother on Vulcan. When he wasn't being ignored, he was teased in school due to his blue skin and antennae despite being on Vulcan. Words like 'half breed,' 'monster,' and jabs at his mother became commonplace. He proved the emotional restraint was very deep in him. The only time things got physical was when a few classmates shoved and tripped him in an unprovoked attack. It was at the point his Andorian side broke loose and finished what was started. All through his schooling he was above average even for a Vulcan. Much to T'Har's disapproval, he joined the Starfleet Academy at the age of 18.

Starfleet career

At the academy, Sevoc found the experience vastly different from his time in the Vulcan education system. The students were more excepting of his mixed heritage. He still, however, focused on his studies. Due to the nature of his mixed physiology, he was forced to return to Vulcan and miss half of a semester during his second pon far. Having anticipated this, he doubled his school load the semester beforehand and didn't miss a beat. In fact he raised his GPA from a 3.98 to a 4.0. He graduated at the top of the Class of '89. His first assignment was on the Valiant where he served with distinction before getting orders to the Columbus.
