Tag Dylan and anyone off the bridge
Quote from: Dylan Torngate on April 12, 2017, 12:53:05 PM(Science Lab)[Transporter Room]
As Dylan got the all-clear he nodded to himself as the rest of the team filed onto the pad. "Energize." He said, and the familiar wash of transport flew over him, deconstructing him and transmitting him to the planet below. As far as Dylan knew he was the same after transport... but for all Dylan knew the origional 'him' had died the first time he had been deconstructed, and every time after that merely a copy. It was a thought he didn't like to dwell on all that much. He'd leave that guessing to the scientists. The sequence took a little longer than Dylan was used to, possibly due to the age of the ship and systems. But they worked. They worked and did their job, and that was all Dylan cared about.
[Detrix IV]
Dylan remateralized on the surface and looked around. The area was cloudy and rainy, which the sensors either hadn't noticed or nobody cared to inform Dylan. As the rain fell down and splattered on the new arrivals, soaking through Dylan's uniform. About a quarter-mile in the distance was some kind of structure, a ruin that looked rather abandoned. Between the two areas was a mostly grassy field, with no animal life really seen, and a few birds in the sky.
Dylan looked up at the ruin. It looked to be an old kind of castle, but beyond that there really wasn't much to tell about it. He looked behind, but found nothing but beach and flotsam. The ruin looked as good a place to start as any. But he wasn't a scientist. "OK Let's move up there." He said, as he regretted not bringing an umbrella. The rain, as if to encourage the visitors, seemed to pick up a bit, as if agreeing with Dylan. "Let's get out of the rain... Jyur you know what to do. Pardek out front. Zex, help science if you would. Any questions?" he asked, before contacting the Challenger.Away Team to Challenger, we're on the surface. Caught in a rainstorm, moving up to a ruin we found.

He had an idea. On the ship their computers might know more about the people or beings who used to be here.
Torngate to Sciences.
he started, hoping someone would reply.
What's the ship's computer know about these ruins? What might we expect?
Sevoc was still working on some projects when the call came through.
He quickly pulled up all relevant information and quickly assembled the report.
=/\=I'm getting all the information now, sir,=/\= Sevoc responded.
The reports were thin, but it appeared that the inhabitants had advanced beyond this old vestige of a bygone era. There were sketchy, at best, reports of spectres and other non-corporeal beings.
One vessel reported having all technology rendered inert. Another had had widespread hallucinations. It was really mixed bag.
=/\=Sevoc to Commander Torngate. Sir, nothing terribly conclusive, however I would recommend some extra precautions and regular checks of both personnel and equipment. I am sending you the data now. Sevoc out.
After giving the report, he decided to head towards the bridge.
Congratulations. If you need any help, let me know

I'll edit this with a couple as I do them.

Quote from: T'Ra Jones on April 04, 2017, 06:55:39 AM(Observation Lounge)[Observation Lounge]
T'Ra didn't doubt that Zuriel was much more at ease in his dress uniform than what he had worn all those years ago for their crazy shenanigans. But the memory made her smile, and Evan bellowed with laughter at the thought. "I think I like this guy," he told T'Ra. "Seems like a lot of fun."
"Knowing you," T'Ra added, "I'm having a little trouble believing you've kept yourself out of trouble all this time, but I suppose becoming a father and husband changes your perspective on life." She could feel Evan's eyes on her, but she did not have to look at him to know what he was thinking. After their encounter with Sloan it was clear that he wanted children, but they hadn't even set a day for the wedding. Soon, probably. Evan had been patient long enough, and she was not one to deny him. "What field is she studying?" T'Ra asked, changing the subject back to his daughter Avi. "I'm sure the twins must have been a handful."
[Observation Lounge]
Being on a starbase, T'Ra was hyper-aware of the bustling crowd as it ebbed and flowed, marking each new arrival as friend or foe. She knew she was safe and among her companions, but she still struggled to keep the wheels from spinning in her head. Until she spotted another familiar face.
"Na'shaya, Mr. Sevoc," she called out, beckoning to the fellow Vulcan and friend. It gladdened her to see him one more time before he left for his new posting on the Challenger. She would miss him dearly. Despite the short time they had served together, she felt they had grown close, a relationship enhanced in part by the mind melds. But also, she would miss their ability to work together, in tandem with one another. There would be a completely different atmosphere in the science labs with his departure.
"I hope you'll join me when Hawke drags me up on Á¢â,¬Ëœstage' to explain the transwarp conduit," T'Ra added. "After all, you had just as much a part to play in this as I." She paused a moment to collect her thoughts, not sure what to say yet. "Captain Warring is getting a fine science officer."
Realizing she had forgotten something, she made the introductions. "Sevoc, this is an old friend of mine from my days fresh out of the academy." And to Zuriel, she added, "This is Sevoc, my best science officer. He's been snagged for the new ship they're rolling out."
"Na'shaya, T'Ra," Sevoc replied in kind. "It would be most agreeable to join you on stage if you feel the need."
He turned to Zuriel and responded.
"It is agreeable to meet you, sir," he said confidently. "I am not sure how much has been disclosed, but I am not as fine an officer as T'Ra here. No matter what she may say."
His tone was that of modesty. He was always reluctant of any praise heaped on him. Even more so after the incident.
(Observation Deck)
With his new orders, Sevoc found himself back on the Starbase awaiting the launch of his new home. The Shran had been enjoyable, but he felt that the needs of Starfleet should be put ahead of his own.
He was going to miss T'Ra, but the subspace network would allow them to stay in contact. She had really helped him get straightened out after Dr. McConnell's virus had transferred through his mind. He was even appreciative of Evan for his understanding. She had chosen well with him. He saw the two of them with another officer and what looked to be his wife.
He made his way over to them so he could give a proper farewell.
(Science Lab)
Sevoc was working on a few side projects, as he often did. He was grateful to finally be in the right state of mind. T'ra had been a wonderful superior and the two had formed a great friendship over their short time together. Should the need arise, he knew that it was only logical to seek her assistance where needed.
I shall endeavor to make a post in the morning

USS Challenger
Quote from: James A. Hawke on March 30, 2017, 02:24:42 AM"Location confirmed, sir," Sevoc replied after glancing again at the charts. "We have indeed made it to the Delta Quadrant."[Shuttle]
James waited as Ardy piloted. As they finished he said "EQ, please launch a probe to mark this location"
He turned to Science "Sevok, please confirm our locations by astrological charts"
He then turned to Ardy and said "Ardy...take us back to the Alpha Quadrant"
Lastly he turned to Harmon and replied "Once, we get to the Alpha Quadrant send an encoded transmission once we arrive to the Alpha Quadrant..."
He lastly turned to the shuttle and said "Ladies and Gentleman, we did a historical moment...we found a way to the Delta Quadrant...if Voyager would have known this decades ago...we would have save them a lot of time back...so should be proud of yourself...your name will be in history"
It was truly an historic moment in history. One that shall be remembered in the annuls of time.
Well earned!
