Character Bio:
Henry Shane Crowley was born on a whaling ship on the Atlantic Ocean near Glouster, Massachusett; he grew up on Cape Cod and enjoyed whale watching and giving tours. Henry had enjoyed the sea life and biology and the deep seas. On colder seasons of New England, he went to Salem with his buddies. They had always talked about how great the History was in the area. They had even talked about joining Starfleet Academy. He decided to stay behind. He was consumed by American History on the Revolution war and Civil War.

One year his buddies told him to come and visit Starfleet Academy. While Henry was there, he spotted a pretty young girl visiting at the same time. Which had him reconsider joining Starfleet. This, of course, had his buddies tease him about this. Then he signed up to attend Starfleet cause he saw a girl he liked. He had tried his best to figure out what course she was taking so he could be on the same path. Unsure, he chose Science which he had enjoyed.

He learned she was in Security, which made him take that as a secondary career in Starfleet. To impress her, he truly dedicated himself to Security which hurt his career in Science. Then he realized he was over his head. He learned he had liked Science, and he was being swept by Science in general.

On failing to get the courage to ask her for a date, he had missed the opportunity to get one date. There were mishaps too. He walked into a waste-high barricade which caused him to get injured. More studies had tied up his time, making him slowly drift away from this dream girl.

The closest thing to seeing her was some security classes they had to train, and he was total, not cool. He was unable to focus and got beaten up. Even some other cadets noticed and laughed. He even had one date with another girl who seemed to be charmed by his personality. They end up liking each other, and that is when he is confused. Girls found him attractive cause he was super friendly, charming, helpful, and that little shyness was the attraction to the opposite sex.

With studying, training, dating, and time going by so fast, he was finally free to ask the girl on a date. Just as he did. She graduated too and went to another ship. There he was in Starfleet. There was no way he dreamed be serving Starfleet cause he was trying to impress a girl. This could be one of those dumbest incidents at Starfleet.

USS Lincon was the first ship that Henry served on. He had to marry the female name Wendy he had a child with on that ship. The marriage had not lasted too long because Wendy had died delivering their daughter.

When the first opportunity to transfer, he had taken which had a small surprise on board the ship if he was transferred to USS Discovery.

[Hologram 3]

"Faye-Anne Wendy Crowley, you can't hide from me too long," he said in the playground in the Hologram. There were plenty of places for his daughter to hide; there were many trees. The one thing children had to be against them was their impish giggles. Yes. They can be clever.

He snuck up to the tree where she was hiding; he placed his back to the tree, hands down on the bark. The maple syrup was oozing on his fingers. They both had this impish grin that he inherited from his own mother. A perfect day, too, in the Hologram. A children's Hologram had to be friendly to the little ones.

The father sneaked around the tree. The room went bright white. Henry yelled in pain, pulling his hands up to his face to shield the bright light. His daughter was not bothered by the light that came to her father's rescue. "Daddy!" she yelled. Faya knew that his eyes were sensitive to bright light, and the program was set for being suitable for his eyes.

"Sweet-tums," he took the reaching arm of his daughter. "Take me to sickbay," he told her.

"Arch!" She called. "Arch! ARCH! AAARRRRCH!" she howled like a wolf. The Scientist felt his daughter shaking. He had not wanted his daughter to be scared, and he had trained himself to be blind, but he was not like a genuine blind person.

Henry knew they were in a closed room. "Sweety. We will be fine," then he felt her hugging his leg. He shifted himself forward as he was reaching for the wall. There were at least ten steps he made and then another ten. Then he went on, and he felt this was not right. "Faye, what do you see?" he asked her.

"Light daddy, bright light all around us," she said. "It is not blinding, but it's just white light...Are we in heaven?"

Woah. That felt sore in Henry's heart when his own beloved daughter asked they were in heaven. "No. It must be something else. A something hiding in the white light," he told her. Then he figured this was something he needed to figure out. Was the whole ship was like this? They should be able to hear the others? Ah, questions that needed to be answered. This is what a Scientist likes to do. Find answers.

"Daughter of mine, what your eyes see is what they want you to see. Focus on trying not to see," he told her.

"Daddy, that makes no sense, not soever!"

"It does. It's an illusion. The truth of the unknown," the father told his daughter.

"How did you know?" a voice around them spoke.

"Simple. You are hiding in what we can't see. You somehow knew my weakness to bright light. Darkness would not scare my daughter, for she is not scared of the dark. Who are you? And who are you? And where are the others?" He asked.

Additional information: He has special glasses for sensitive to some light
