{Bridge}
Sevoc maintained his station on the bridge. Although there had been some conflict with the Cardassians in the cargo bay, he had remained largely unaffected and uninterested. The thalaron radiation had been a minor concern and he had monitored the spikes, but they were distant enough now that it was no longer a threat. He was, for lack of a better word, bored. His mind began to wander inwardly, reflecting on his current personal situation. Perhaps it was due to his dual nature, being a contrast of both Andorian and Vulcan, that he never quite fit. He did his job and spent his downtime alone. The last time he attempted to reach out, he was transferred away before he could even begin to understand how he felt. Maybe it was easier to live his life in solitude, but it certainly was... lonely. He frowned in distaste at the thought. It was such an un-Vulcan emotional state.
So deep in thought was Sevoc, that he didn't immediately register that his shift was over and his replacement had been stammering at him for the past five minutes. With an annoyed look and a nod of acknowledgement, the science officer vacated his seat. Perhaps a meal and some light meditation would help him focus on a solution to his state of mind. When was the last time he ate something? Sometime yesterday, he was forced to admit. He shuffled off to the turbolift to return to his quarters.
