Holodeck / Family old and new (Tess)

it had been years since they had seen each other and Finn was eager to at least greet his cousin properly before they'd all hurry off and take care of the situation. So he asked her to step aside for a moment.
"Tess, I know you're busy. You've got a really important position now."
Briefly he looked at her again and how she really hadn't changed all that much. Maybe a little more mature and not quite as skinny but it suited her and there was a certain glow. One, that Finn blamed on her being married and a mom now.
"It's really good to see you."
He offered her a smile and then nodded.
"I guess I'll catch you later. I'll go find myself one of those rooms. Where do I go? I've never been on this station."
Secretly was hoping that her quarters had a guest room, which she might hopefully offer or a few hours.

Holodeck / Christmas shopping (Luby)

Being on a small freighter for a long time was very, very boing. There wasn't anywhere to go, nothing special to do, no recreation, no shops or restaurants. So once they weredocking at Katra Finn was craving all that. Plus it would soon be Christmas. Not that he actually knew many people here that he could give gifts to with his newly found riches. But there was his crew and, of course, Tess.
So he found himself walking into one of the many stores, that was totally overstocked and busy. Apparently he wasn't the only one with that idea.

Finn had spent over two hours selecting gifts and was actually having a lot of fun but the shopping bag, that he had slung around his shoulder had become quite heavy by now.

Next to him, not even 10 feet away he suddenly spotted a gorgeous woman. Human. Dark hair, lush lips, glowing skin. Instantly he looked away because she must have noticed his stare. He grinned a bit to himself and reached for one of the fuzzy fur aliens of the shelf just to appear busy.

[Planet Earth - the hills near Rome- Moreno family home - 13 years ago-Finn Moreno]

Family meetings could be a lot of fun. Even in the Moreno family. Admittedly, often they turned into some sort of problem or fight because the two Moreno brothers, Fabiano and Alonso, were both hot headed and stubborn. Like so many Italians they liked drama. Voices were loud, emotions running high and one never really knew whether glasses filled with vino rosso would be flying soon.
The women tried their best to calm their fighting husbands down but eventually they also became emotional and started yelling with big gestures and a lot of drama.

The day has started so great. Everyone had been getting together, bringing typical dishes like pasta, olives, fish cakes, antipasti and sea food and , of course, lots of wine. The garden was decorated and from the hillside above Rome, one could catch a glimpse of the Mediterrenean in the distance.

For a while it had been fun but now Finn was sitting next to his cousin, Tess, wondering whether to get into the discussion as well, or…
He took a deep breath and looked at the brunette, who had blossomed in the past few years of her teens. Then he leaned towards her and whispered. “Incredibile. Litigano di nuovo.”
Finn was already annoyed by his father, so he reached for his glass and had a small sip but had lost his appetite.
