Alright, facilitated by the need to end the mission this week and a lot of us being on Skype simultaneously we've had a veritable deluge of posts. I'm going to briefly explain what has transpired:

The Romulans in sickbay took two hostages, and demanded to speak to the captain to acquire their data. Vem, acting like a Klingon for once, disarmed one of them. Realizing their situation was hopeless, they killed themselves, but not before activating explosives on the Tripoli.

The away team on the Tripoli now has a few minutes to either be beamed back to the Gibson or to jettison from an escape pod.

In the interest of letting others catch up, I'm holding off on posting for now. I don't want someone logging in and their character being moved about for them in between posts.

We have essentially finished the mission. Tonight we will be starting an exciting new mini-sode for the remainder of the month.

I'll allow a reasonable amount of time for everyone to get some closing posts in before Mike and T'Prina open up the next mission. I'll officially announce the specifics of the mini-sode on the Announcement thread.
