Nevir finally decided to just stay out in the open with the others.. looking completely like a Calabrian.. and clearly not comfortable with the lower teeth yet.  Still, he was able to speak.

"Welcome to Starfleet... you never know when you are going to end up as an alien on an undeveloped planet.  You'll be fine.  And trust me, we'll need Engineers on this one." he said, adjusting his new costume.

"Remember everyone, that disguises are only part of it.  This is a culture of mannerisms, and they are currently on high alert thanks to Starfleet.  We need to be able to blend in better than average.  Once you are looking the parts, I want to have a small briefing on etiquette and local knowledge.  And enjoy this site.. you are all going to look just like this." he said, adjusting his hands.  They looked thicker, and they only had 4 digits.

"Anyone who thinks they will need their full hands, make sure you wear gloves at all times."

[Sickbay]

Zex looked up when Tekin started talking.  He had a commanding voice - and was so handsome.  "Aye, sir" she called out and then offered him a friendly smile before returning to what she had been doing.

Leela stepped into sickbay which was a buzz with activity. It didn't take her long to identify the individuals who had already been transformed by the medical staff. She was able identify Tekin by voice alone. The doctors had clearly done an excellent job of transforming the crew. She shuddered to think that she would probably be next. As she looked around the room she found herself taken aback by the appearance of her colleagues. "Alright guys, where do I sign in? I prefer the spots, but eh, I'm feeling adventurous today anyway." She let out a loud laugh and headed towards the center of sickbay.

[Sickbay]

As soon as Zex finished with Mr. Bryan, she prepared her work area for the next person.  "I'll take you" she said to the young lady in the middle of sickbay.  "I'm Dr. Zex" she said to the woman.

"Kaz, Leela Kaz. I'm in charge of keeping this beautiful hunk of metal moving." She moved toward the doctor and helped herself to a seat on the biobed. "I just want to be clear doc, when we're done here, you'll be able to put me back. Right? Spots and all?" She laughed at her own joke. "Cuz I'm not sure if I could go through life looking like that." She gestured towards Tekin. "Don't worry sir. You look great!" She added while flashing a mischievous smile in Tekin's direction.

Kyle Briggs

[Corridor to Transporter Room One]

The Discovery was now in High orbit above Calabar and the Away Teams were gathered in the Transporter Room and making final preparations. If Briggs was to be honest with himself, he was pretty nervous. This was a big mission. The slightest thing could cause even more damage to the society down below. But he vowed not to harp on that when he addressed the crew before they left. He didn't want them to be any more nervous then they may already be.

[Transporter Room One]

The doors parted and Kyle walked in. It took him a second to take in the entire scene and remember these were his people. Doctor Zollin was off to one side making a final check of one of the officers. The alterations were so well done that he couldn't even tell who was who. He stepped over and laid a hand on the Doctor's shoulder.

"You and your staff did an amazing job, Doctor." he said before he made his way around the console and stood next to the transporter chief.

"Alright, folks. This is it. This is going to be a big one for us. It isn't often that a ship sends down two separate Away Teams. I want you all to keep your eyes and ears open and communicate. That will be key down there. We've got people and equipment and records to recover. Nothing and no one gets left behind. You're going to be transported straight into the facilities where the Observation Teams are located so there want be any travel time out in the open. This will help us avoid the locals as much as possible. You've all been briefed by your team leaders. If something should happen, make sure they know about it ASAP. Now I know sounds like a simple "Get in, Grab it and Get out". Let's hope that's all it is."

He then turned to the Chief. "Ready?"

"Aye, Sir." came the reply.

"Okay. Team One. You're up first. Good luck." Kyle said. He then watched as Pardek, Cottle, Kaz and Ainsley, or at least who he hoped were those four, step onto the pad. "Energize." he ordered.

Once the pad was cleared and the system set for another transport, he called on the next team to step up. "Team Two. Your turn. Good luck." This left Tekin, Zex, Filitov, Bryan and Reyes. As soon as they were all settled, he repeated the command. "Energize."

After the final transport, the room fell silent. It now only contained Kyle, the transporter chief and Doctor Zollin. "Looks like all we can do now is wait Doctor." Kyle said as they exited the room.

Kali Reyes

[Sickbay]

Facial horrors aside, the fashion part was the real troubling matter for Starfleet officers of the female persuasion. To start, Kali had seen what constituted 'high fashion' in Calabar and grimaced at the idea of restrictive corsets and inconvenient petticoats. While her department said Operations, she was an engineer first and foremost and dreaded the idea of maneuvering while dressed for a tea party.

As soon as her ogre-transformation was completed, Kali had hopped off the biobed and immediately snooped around for a replicator to avoid looking into a mirror. With a bit of referencing, Kali pulled out a bland pleated tuxedo tailcoat, a drape skirt for movement, and a pair of plain heeled work boots. She wasn't sure about Calabarian society's rules on women workers, so she hid her tool kit inside the lapels of her jacket. Easy enough.

[Transporter Room One]

She literally bounced on her heels with Team Two on the way to the transporter pad. Sure, she didn't like the idea of going planetside, but if she was fated to die today, she might as well enjoy it. What was probably against protocol, she gave her Captain a cheery little wave as the transporter under them activated and sent them on their way.

And if she somehow came back to the ship, she could apologize to him for sending her last will and testament to his inbox just in case.

As the transporter cycle finished, Katcha looked around her at the tower where the transporter had placed them. It was supposed to pave put them where the observation post was, but she could see no obvious sign. She was rather uncomfortably dressed in a fitted dark red dress with numerous petticoats and a corset underneath. While she didn't like the facial reconstruction, she had to admit that the clothes flattered her, if a bit impractical. She carried a shoulder bag that contained a phaser, tricorder and a small tool kit. She was also wearing a broach that contained a modified com-badge so she could communicate with the ship. The tricorder had also been modified to look like a book so it could be taken out and used without arousing suspicion. She did so now and pulled up the map of the city.

"This way." She said in a low voice, indicating the direction they needed to go.

Katcha led the way out onto the the main street and followed the map towards the location of the observation post they had been sent to deal with. She could not help but agree with the previous comments. Whoever had the bright idea to put it right in the centre of the town, needed to be brought up on charges.

She lowly led the team trough the narrow streets, carefully avoiding any interaction with the local population. They had been getting some strange looks and it took a moment to realise why. The guide said that the populace had form of etiquette that would prevent a woman from being in charge. So she stopped and walked over to Nevir.

"Sir, I need to put my arm through yours. That way I can guide us and prevent the looks we have been getting." She said in a low voice.

[Team 2 - Planetside]

Kali had never met Filitov. This was probably the first time they've ever met. As such, she was a bit reluctant and puzzled to follow her orders, despite rank. She had thought Nevir was leading the charge, but who knows. Aw, who cared. She'll let the officers duke out for dominance. Her job was to simply make sure no staff got left behind and do a little tech work if need to.

And wherever the group went, she followed. She did tag behind a little bit just to breathe the old smog around her. It was uncanny how much they emulated human culture without meaning to. Small galaxy, apparently.

When they stopped, Kali took a moment to look around at the cobblestone streets and the slanted buildings that looked very much like out of a Sherlock novel. There was a window dressing of strange time pieces that caught her eye.

"God, I wish I had money," she said wistfully. She tried not to drool all over the window; she didn't think it was very acceptable in high society.

Leela materialized inside the observation tower with the rest of the team she had been assigned to. Four humanoid figures were apparent, at first. With a glance around the room the Trill noted the technology that permeated the room and assumed they had arrived to the right place. Four faces quickly became distinguishable. They resembled the alterations the doctors had just completed. "Did someone call for some assistance?" She asked. She looked around at the rest of the team. "On a side note. I think this all of this enhancement is irritating my spots." Leela commented as her hand scratched the side of her ribs.

Nevir had been spending the last 20 or so minutes breifing himself over and over on Calabrian society.  Everything had to be perfect, that was just the truth of the matter.  As they materialized in the colder tower, with a window view right there, Nevir finally understood what a crewman said about Victorian London.  This looked like something out of a holoprogram... except for the populace.

His distraction was interrupted by Filitov's words, and it brought him back to the present.  "Right, of course." he said, crooking his arm to allow her's in.  He mentally brought himself back to where they were, and who he was supposed to be.  He turned to see the group he had.  With the exception of himself and Filitov, the rest were lower ranked officers... which could possibly go to their advantage.

"Familial stroll, guys.  We might be here now, but I doubt we'll be able to get through this without talking to the locals. If anyone comes up to us, I speak.  If not me, then Filitov.  Lead the way, Lieutenant." he said, gesturing her to slip her arm in and start walking.

Katcha nodded and slipped her arm through his. She then gently guided him where they needed to go and they got no more funny looks from the natives. They soon arrived at the site of the observation post.

"According to the information, this is the place. What are the protocols for letting them know who we are?" See asked, still keeping her voice low.

[South East Observation Tower]

Daughtry was still pacing about while he awaited for the Discovery. Their last transmission put them only two hours out and that was about two and a half hours ago. He expected them to show at anytime now. The room they were in was a mess. There was stuff strewn all over the place. And personally, Daughtry could care less. In his mind, they were already compromised so he didn't see any harm in leaving anything behind now. He just wanted off this back water world before another "Ghost Hunter" showed up. He quickly stopped and stood straight. Did he just hear a noise outside? After a few seconds of listening, he didn't hear it again. He went back to loading his belongings.

"Screw the other crap." he said. "This is it. I'm never doing one of these observation missions again."
