Lahr... I think he's looking at you PMSL, just kidding.  I'm out for most of this mission, if anyone needs to tag me for anything I will pop in on Sunday (4th) but otherwise I'm not going to be around until Monday 19th so don't rope me into anything that can't be answered then.  I'm only going to be doing a very basic post today, only tagging people that can easily retroactively post that, e.g. 'Lahr recalled Ruth's final words to him before she left for the language conference....' or whatever.

I will be popping in to Discord, and I will be posting your awards and ribbons sometime while I'm off so look out for those too!

CHICKEN!!!...............and good timing because im doing myr esearch into court cases in startrek and usually its the XO that takes over the defense of the crew as the XO is technically responsible for every crewmember under their command.  The CO Cant do it because hes a judge.  So your lucky your leaving

Normally I'd revel in such a mission... well from the 'looking after the crew' point of view anyhow... I don't like that any member of our crew has to be court martialled.  I'm (not-so-) secretly hoping that they figure something out that amounts to getting probation for a first offence!  Obviously you wouldn't be going on any away missions unless they were desperate, and it would likely involve 'sanitation services' (bog scrubbing with a toothbrush... oh I shouldn't give Ian ideas, ...he doesn't need them!!)

I'm gonna miss the lot of you but I'm really going to love my leave, I can actually have _some_ visitors now (Covid restrictions but I can have my social bubble people around!) and do LOTS of crafts!!  I'll be popping into Discord to chat too so I'm still 'around' as XO if people need me informally!

I've written that Randell, as the far more experienced officer at the Science stations (being a proper science officer) is working on the 'scrambling' problem. Lagar is poring over the data on the ship that the Starbase might have; logistical stuff, refueling information, anything that might give them more clues as to what the ship might be.
