"Thank you, Ms. Weir" Kirok replied.  "Ms. Falleg, will you please execute the command.  When you are ready" he said.

Bridge

"Certainly Captain!" Hrafn answered. She checked the amount of reverse polarisation to use and keyed it into the console then pressed the execute button.

"It seems to be working Captain, it has neutralised the polarisation." she reported.

Remembering the Shuttlecraft she opened a channel to advised them of the neutralisation of the catapult.

"One down.  One to go" Kirok said.  "Ms. Weir, please re-position the ship so that we are in line with the second and last mass driver.  Ms. Falleg, prepare the deflector for one more attack" he added.

"One down.  One to go" Kirok said.  "Ms. Weir, please re-position the ship so that we are in line with the second and last mass driver.  Ms. Falleg, prepare the deflector for one more attack" he added.

"Yes, Sir!" answered Hrafn smartly, activating the deflector and checking the polarisation charge.  "Deflector dish ready on your mark, Sir." she announced.

[Jane D Angelo]

Bridge

Jane stepped off the turbolift and stood still for a few seconds as she watched what was going on. She then made her way over to the Captain.

"Excuse me Captain. Ensign Jane D'Angelo reporting in. Our three guests are now in Sickbay and we have people keeping an eye on them. I'm here to take over the Tactical station." She said, holding out a PADD to the Captain. Hating to interrupt, but it was not right just walking onto the Bridge and not informing the CO who she was as she had not long been on board.

[Kirok]

"Yes, Sir!" answered Hrafn smartly, activating the deflector and checking the polarisation charge.  "Deflector dish ready on your mark, Sir." she announced.

[Bridge]

Kirok offered a nod.  "Ms. Weir, tell us when you are ready" he said.  Then he turned to the turbo lift as the doors opened.

Jane stepped off the turbolift and stood still for a few seconds as she watched what was going on. She then made her way over to the Captain.

Kirok turned to the woman and offered her a slight bow.  "It is agreeable to meet you, Ms. D'Angelo.  Thank you for the update.  The station is yours.  Could you please see if the new probe is online and transmitting any data yet?" he replied.

[Jane D Angelo]

Kirok offered a nod.  "Ms. Weir, tell us when you are ready" he said.  Then he turned to the turbo lift as the doors opened.

Kirok turned to the woman and offered her a slight bow.  "It is agreeable to meet you, Ms. D'Angelo.  Thank you for the update.  The station is yours.  Could you please see if the new probe is online and transmitting any data yet?" he replied.

"Aye Captain." She replied. Immediately heading over to the Tactical station.

After a few seconds to get herself antiquated with the layout she pulled up the information requested.

"The probe is online Captain and we are beginning to receive data. Lieutenant Falleg, can you make any sense of these readings?" She asked, thankful that a scientist was around as that was one of her worst subjects.

"Aye Captain." She replied. Immediately heading over to the Tactical station.

After a few seconds to get herself antiquated with the layout she pulled up the information requested.

"The probe is online Captain and we are beginning to receive data. Lieutenant Falleg, can you make any sense of these readings?" She asked, thankful that a scientist was around as that was one of her worst subjects.

Bridge

Hrafn smiled warmly at the newcomer.  "See what I can do for you Ensign D'Angelo! And ... welcome to the Phoenix! We'll catch up later if you like, nice to have another woman aboard, the poor Captain will think we are breeding or something!" she grinned.

She started working on the telemetry from the probes and analysing data.

"Soon as the data is analysed it will feed back to you Ensign, aaaand... that should be about now.  Looks to be, ... a slaver ship. Hmmm,  I could run scans on warp trails but they'd be so cold by now that the only stuff we'd likely find in the area would be us, our shuttle, and... well possibly stuff that shouldn't be there!"

Hrafn smiled warmly at the newcomer.  "See what I can do for you Ensign D'Angelo! And ... welcome to the Phoenix! We'll catch up later if you like, nice to have another woman aboard, the poor Captain will think we are breeding or something!" she grinned.

Soon she was seeing the full flow of date but none of it was of much use.

"I'm not picking anything up of much use Captain. Maybe sciences can expand the parameters." She reported.

"Afraid not Ms D'Angelo...there isn't a lot of information in the first place.  It's like a recalcitrant toddler that doesn't want to go down for their nap!...or pulling teeth, trying to sift even the slimmest of information that we got."

[Bridge]

Ashley paused a moment not doing anything. After the brief pause she immediately started moving the ship to be in line with the next mass driver. "This one is harder to get to sir. I CAN do it, but it will be a little bit more difficult." Slowly the ship moved into alignment with the next driver. "We're in line sir. Waiting for further orders."

Hrafn looked to the captain, ready to take out the driver with another reverse polarisation charge.

'Ms D'Angelo is getting quite an introduction to the Phoenix and what she's capable of!' she thought to herself.

"Ready when you are!" she stated simply.

[Kirok]

At least the Slaver ship looked lifeless and very old.  But what was it doing out here in the middle of an asteroid belt.  "Let's not take any precautions.  Gather what information we can an recall the Away Team please, Ms. D'Angelo" he said.

Ashley paused a moment not doing anything. After the brief pause she immediately started moving the ship to be in line with the next mass driver. "This one is harder to get to sir. Jane nodded.

"Yes Captain." She replied, as she ran every scan she could think of, trying to gather every scrap of data she could. While they were running, she activated the com-system.

Lt. DC Davis

[Shuttlecraft]

Sitting heavily in his ergonomically-designed seat, DC wiped a trail of sweat from his brow.  It had been a harrowing set of hours, hiding behind the small, rocky body.  This wasn't the kind of stuff he signed up for, but Davis knew that, even engineers got their necks in hot water...and more than once.  He didn't even want to know what kind of therapy that Chief Arthur had to go through.  Or his wife.

He glanced over as the hail from the ship came through, like a beacon in the fog.  Davis wasn't any coward, that's for sure - he was ready to scrap with anyone.  But sometimes, it was good to be going home.  And home was where the kooky Romulan pilot was now taking them.

[Kirok]

Bridge

"Pulse away, Captain...and mark hit." Hrafn announced with pride but for the ship and crew not for herself.

[Bridge]

Kirok waited until the sensors reported a direct hit on the mass drivers tractor beam.  Effectively disabling the second and last active machine.  "Good work, everyone" he said before heading to his central chair.
