She walked towards EQ and embraced him.  All of the sudden in the middle of the embrace and hug shower her deep affection towards him.  He mentioned he wanted to be free.

All of the sudden she felt her neural transceiver from her back being pulled.  This moment caught her by surprised.  Once it was pulled she was disconnected from the collective.  She was alone.

She screamed in pain "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

He mind was silent. Alone.  However, she walked with greater determination.  She grabbed EQ and attempted to throw him across the room with all her strength.

She then walked "Good plan...but futile...I am stronger, faster than you and more importantly I have the knowledge of countless martial arts in my  head...you cannot beat me...your resistance is futile....your precious Captain cannot save you...the Princess will kill him"

She had her guard up and waited for EQ to engage to her in hand to hand.

[Throne Room]

EQ landed on his back several feet in front of the Borg Queen.  He left should blade hurt and he had saw stars when he bumped his head.  When he started to get up he could hear a popping in his left should.

"And you have the memories of every frightened child you ever hurt.  The panic of every family you have every torn apart.  And you don't have a filter now to keep those feelings down" Kimball said as he got back to his feet, stalling for time.

"And your influence over Kinley is gone.  As well as your influence on the others.  I have liberated them" he added as a plan started forming in his head.  He took a step back, toward his backpack.

[Throne room]

She showed no outward sign of recognition of the two beings who were her former crew. She had no need for those organic emotions that so heavily comprised her organic life.  The appearance of these organic beings on the Borg cube was slightly puzzling to the princess.
Why the Captain and his crew would be so willing to throw away their lives was a mystery to the princess, but they had made their choices.

Nodding at her orders, an icy smile grew across her face. Launching herself, she planted a solid kick, knocking the human off balance.

[Throne Room]

Hawke felt a solid kick into his chest.  The kick was given with enough forced that knocked him backwards.  As he was knocked backwards, he fell down and began rolling down the stairs.  Instead of one blow it was multiple blows.  After what it felt an eternity  rolling down the stars he felt the pain in his body.  James began to get up slowly as he felt pain in his body.
The Captain knew he was no match against the Borg.  He was known for his mind not martial prowess.  His only hope of winning this fight did not rely on him, but her.
As he got up and began screaming "I know you are still in there!!! Fight it!!!  Don't Let her win, Kiney!!!"

He remained standing in a defensive stance hoping to at least block something....

She walked up to the man she was fighting and attempted to kick him in the chest with all the force the could muster.  As she finished the kick she replied "Kiney obey me out of love...as you will too.   You efforts to separate me from the collective are in vain...I have given thousand of inferior sentients  the ultimate gift...to be assimilated into something that is perfect!  Your small mind does not comprehend this...but the Princess does"

She looked at EQ and said "...you will never be free!  The Collective will always be part of your and sould soul...trapped for the rest of your life...but I can give you freedom...true freedom...in death!  Consider it a mercy!"

As soon as they rematerialized, Ian moved to the conn.

"One of you will have ta take tactical and one of you will have ta take either ops or the engineerin' station. I don't expect ta get in many shots, but we need no but a few ta keep them off balance as we make our run. We will have ta have someone rotatin' the shield frequencies ta maintain shields as long as possible ta get into position."

Ian stopped and gave both women knowing looks before continuing.

"This may or may not work, but it is our last option. As soon as we drop out of warp, things will happen very quickly and there may not be much time fer conversation, so I will say this now. Even though we haven't served long and come from different points in time, it's been a privilege ta serve with ya. Now, let's get that warp core reinitialized."

Ian then took his place at the conn and began prepping the Valour for warp speed.

T'Ra moved over to the science station as the ensign spoke, preferring to trust an old friend rather than the engineering station, whose screen was flickering intermittently. She pulled up a barrage of information, monitoring the dropping number of life signs as the crew began to evacuate, as well the matter:antimatter ratio. Engineering had never been her strong suit, but she would do what she could. "Matter ratio seems to be steady for the moment, just within acceptable parameters."

Ian nodded and began the warp initialization sequence and waited for the plasma flow temperature to reach levels before introducing antimatter into the warp core.

"Aye Sir. As soon as the warp drive is online, we will chase those wankers down, bugger them with a splintered rake, and go back ta our home timeline. And a lot of fat, dumb, and happy gits we'll be too."

[Lab]

As she worked on him, he tried to recall more about himself. He was no longer a person, he was merely a number, a set of data. He sensed his bionics being repaired, which then gave enough power to the rest of his bionics that he formulated a plan. His assimilation tubules broke through the force field holding him down and struck their target. The computer panel below him was changed to a datafield as he downloaded his own personal logs, the most of this personality and hints to who he was as he downloaded into the PADD in turn every technical diagram and detail he had on the Borg, mostly about his particular configuration.

He felt a sensory implant on his other hand, and tried to process it. It wasn't... logical for a vulcan. He used that fact, that fallacy against borg programming, as a rock to hold to as he worked an internal battle. Everything he did would be displayed as he got a message from the Borg.

ASSIMILATE. DESTROY. ADAPT.

He sent back a message of his own, an order to the Drones.

ABORT ORDER. SHUTDOWN.

The Borg listened to his order. Across the ship, all the borg drones would appear to lose power or simply freeze, stationary and in sentry mode.

Startled at first by the sudden movement, the Vulcan soon realized what he was doing. Fortunate for him, in her emotional state, she had forgotten her plan to use acid as a failsafe. The information he was providing could prove vital, they might even have a fighting chance against the Borg. She grasped his still human hand, near bubbling with excitement.

"You're doing so well, Alex!" The unfamiliar human emotions were a roller coaster ride, but she would worry about that later. The migraine and other physical side effects not withstanding. Most important was getting Alex's Borg insights to someone, anyone who could use them.

One hand still on Alex's, she sent the data he had downloaded in a mass spam to every station on the Bridge. She had no idea who was running the ship right now, hadn't seen any crew but the Deltan and Andorian in Sick Bay. There had to be someone there who could receive it and interpret it to use. Her heart raced, as she hoped to hear some response.

Ian was still coaxing the engines through their start up sequence when he received the transmission from the sick bay.

He feigned being hurt while the Queen proudly gave her little speech.  And popped the clips on the latches of the backpack.  "The accept this gift as my answer" he said as he threw the backpack at her.

Death of Borg awoke.  He had been given a new directive to terminate two weak humanoids in the ship.  He was given data that they might attempt to go to key tactical areas in the Cube.

Death of Borg was created for one purpose...to destroy internal threats.  He was a Gorn over 7 feet tall build with pure muscle and implants.  He was stronger and faster than a average Gorn.  He also had knowledge from the collective.  He was ordered to claw his enemies to death to attempt to destroy the perfection of the collective.

He waited into the corridor as he waited for two members of Species 5618 to appear.  His duty was clear to eliminate them.  They stood no chance against a creature...that was made as an offensive weapon.  He was rare in the collective and rarely activated.  A Drone for only the purpose of combat.

He figured that certain death awaited to the individuals that has been marked to death.  He would not question the Queen why death instead of assimilation, but he figured that they had not use to the collective.

(Corridor)

Leo hurriedly placed the torpedoes where they needed to be. He turned down another corridor. When he saw the menace approaching.

"Oi, you lug," he cried out, "I, too, am a large, semi-muscular man."

He turned to call for Jettis.

"Hey, Jettis, don't fall asleep now. Sleepiness is weakness of character. I'm gonna need your help over here."

With that, he pulled out his phaser rifle and postured to fire.

OOC note: This takes place before the disconnect of the Queen.

Alex shuddered a little bit as the tapping into the PADD gave him the power he needed. The little spark of power was enough to regenerate his power cells, which came back on, the darkening green of his borg implants returning to full power and intensity... but different. They were a different shade of grey, as if there was a touch of Starfleet mustard yellow in them. Her meddling had made... a strange new thing. He was not one with the Borg, but he could hear the borg and interact with them, a sort of being with a foot in both camps. That made him an incredible threat to the Borg, should it be exploited, but also made it dangerous that he might be recollected by the collective. His power to order only was to the Borg on this ship, to which he gave the following command.

ABORT. ABORT. SELF-DESTRUCT. EMERGENCY PROTOCOL TWO-ONE-SIX-THETA-OSCAR-FIVE

All across the ship, the Borg self destructed, sparks flying from implants, as they fell and then vaporized. That task done, and everything going on in his head being displayed on the PADD, he began repairing his circuits, including his weapons.

He heard the comms, the Borg having already tapped into the commslink.

"An illogical action, Most strange. They should also abandon ship." he said, as he looked around from the restraints. He had not yet broken free, but they didn't have enough time. He was sure he could tap into the Borg transporter systems if he had to, but his individuality in him was vehemently against that.

He accessed the comms systems, and replied.

<^> Mister Galloway, I would reccomend you also evacuate the ship. <^> he said, which must be damn strange to hear the formerly-assimilated Chief of Engineering talking over the comms as if nothing had changed.

Ian had just felt the vibration of the deck plates change pitch that let him know that the Valour was now warp capable again, when an odd voice spoke his name causing him to start and cant his head as he half recognized the voice, but didn't quite at the same time.

=/\= "I dinnae know who this is, but ya have got about ten minutes ta evacuate or it will be too late." =/\=

The Queen grabbed the bag from the free Borg.  She could defeat the humanoid like he was a bug.  However, the issue was the "gift".  As opened the bag and noticed a "Torpedo" and then it hit her.  She was the one trapped right now.

She was disconnected from the Borg there was no way she could warm, make preparation.

She yelled "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

Her priority now was to try and get back in the collective to give the collective the information needed.  Her only hope of survival was to connect to them.   For the first time, there was panic in her eyes and she was overwhelmed. She tried to go to the nearest console in an attempt to warm the Cube
