I'm pissed off.

You have been warned.

The Fleet's fragmented behind the scenes.  To see it at face value, it's fine, but we really need to start looking at the problems we have:

- One Admiral who's stressed as hell and worrying about the cost of keeping the Fleet running.
- One Admiral we barely see doing ANYTHING, and still making demands that can't be met.
- Several disillusioned captains

I don't want this Fleet to die.  It's accompanied me through hell and high water, and I'm not ready to give up on the community I've found here.  If that means that I need to take over running the damned thing, then I will.

Now, I don't want ANY accusations here.  No fighting.  Only ideas on how we can pull this thing together and get it working.

Agreed, John.  Skype isn't likely to be a good medium.  I'll see if I can't find a site somewhere that'll allow a conference in a browser.

Ok, I've found a browser based chat room that we can use called Talker.  If you PM or skype me your email addresses, I can add you to the room I set up.

I certainly don't like the idea of a hard reboot.  I think we need to keep that as a last-ditch, everything-is-going-to-hell-in-a-handbasket-and-there's-nothing-else-we-can-do option.

This is a good option. The heart and so of the Fleet isn't in this site--it's in us.

Then comes the problem of transferring all of the threads and history of the Fleet to the new site.  Moving to a cheaper server has been suggested, but we're waiting on Chris Newberry to respond to that option since he technically still owns the site.
